Siphon Brew - Condensed
A condensed (90 second) demo of vac-pot (siphon) brewing... shows just how cool a brewing method this is. This was actually my first brew in the vac-pot, so apologies for technique issues. :)

The glass is a little scary, but the base is very stable and the top sits down in there nicely and seals well, so it's more stable than it may look. But with 3 kids, I don't put it anywhere near the edge of the counter. :)
The cup is very clean, there's no sludge in it at all. The cloth filter is pretty effective (you can use other filters if you like but I've had no problems with the cloth ones... but you have to clean them well).

great show. thanks for that. is it at all scary that its all glass? how often do grinds appear in your cup?
