What are some clever ways you have seen people reuse/recycle/re purpose burlap coffee bags after they are empty?

After one fell down that I was using for deco in my houser, I found out that my cat loves to use it as a scratching post and bed!

I have heard of people using them to prevent moles from digging up their garden areas (as a liner), making them into handbags, and many other fun little ideas.

Thought it would be fun to share what ways you have resued a bag yourself (or seen/heard of)!

shower curtain...at least part of it!

An Illinois-based company called Burlap Works (check out their etsy site) gets a bunch from Crop to Cup - they've got some pretty awesome items made from re-purposed burlap bags. I've seen the reusable coffee sleeves (kind of bulky and the fit isn't that great), but their bags are AWESOME. I've got a tote bag from them that is absolutely perfect as a shopping bag, especially for lugging goods home from the local farmer's market.
well here in revelstoke the been using lot of them in avalanche controle. they put the dynamite stick in the bag then trow on the slope and the burlap prevent the dynamite to slide down hill
by far the coolest thing ive heard them used for now lol!
