I really don't want to be on hold with BUNN all day so I figured I'd get on here first.
I need a filter system for a Bunn CWTF-APS
any ideas?

If you're in TX then you might need to soften the water as well. It really depends on what the water is like coming out of the wall. Those CWTF's would require the same system a Fetco 2032 would or any other coffee brewer with a tank that is kept full of hot water all the time. If you run that TX water through there it will fill up with rock hard scale in a few months. Both Everpure and Cuno make filter cartridge systems that will work for that environment but you are looking at $1000 per year in filter costs. Cirqua would be able to set up an RO system for a (much) higher initial cost but a lower annual maintenance number. Many of these filter companies will also send out free water testing kits and send you back the results so long as you agree to let them try and sell you their solution. Most of the reps I've ever met from these companies actually know what they are talking about so you'll get a good education from whoever you talk to. Let us know where the machine is at and we can throw some ideas at you.
Yeah, what he said.
If you are on municipal water, the only thing that I'd add would be for you to look up your most recent water quality report. This will give you some basic information to start the discussion with the rep you are speaking with. Not quite as complete of a recommendation as a test on your sample, but good to get you in the right ballpark for initial discussions.
Finding an appropriate and economical water conditioning system can be one of the most challenging aspects of an upfit, but there are lots and lots of choices. Good luck!
