these are brewt if youve never ran across them
I recently ran across them in a professional situation, ~meaning mr. owner decided these would be primary brewing method over pour-over~...
now although that little gem of an idea is sitting pretty in my mind as much as incest does, i'm trying to stay open to things i may be ignorant of.
so has anybody seen these used or used them to any positive effect?

Aeryn,
It would be helpful for the conversation if you would post specifics about what you experiencing with the Brewt. While I don't own one, I have had some Single Origin's made from them in the past that I thought did the coffee very well. It was much cleaner than a press pot with many of the subtler notes often lost in other preparations shining through. I think it was prepared like a cupping sample, pouring at 200 and not breaking the bloom until 4 minutes. Then decanting immediately.
What are the brew perimeters you are using? What specifically do you not like with the results?
used them for a year now got 4 of them running sold like 50 and never crack one or got any of them return , they be great to me
Olivier, do you brew coffee in these with or without a paper filter?

Nope with paper filer
I've never had one of our clevers crack before, but we also keep them warm. Maybe drastic temperature changes are causing cracks in your plastic?

I have never used a Brewt but I have experience with the Clever. My only problem is that the clever is always cracking I believe from the hot water. I never put my clevers in the dishwasher, never drop them but sooner or later they all develop hairline cracks at upper rim. Not made for commercial use longer than 2 weeks.
