Agreed on the Mazzer. This past weekend at Slow Food Nation, I provided 2 Robur E and 4 Major E Grinders. On all accounts the Baristas loved them. Check them out here

I see the Robur E.. But I don't see the Major E? Sounds kinda cool! For the community not so high rollin'! Is there a retrofit kit?

The Major will be posted in the morning....... Retro kits will be offered late October or early November. We will also offer installation.

Here is one I found on line. You can get them in Canada from bravo coffee group although they are not approved. I did have a guy come in to have it approved and it cost me about 100 bucks.

The timer (automation) has little if anything to do with improved shots, but rather mucho to do with less coffee waste, especially with less experienced baristi. If you're the one paying the bills and signing the paychecks you'll appreciate that aspect.I am not convinced increasing automation is the key we need for better coffee.
