Sho' is difficult finding info on how to descale an Aurelia. Having spent hours looking through the almighty Web, I'm pretty much empty. Does anyone know of a step-by-step manual that explains exactly what tools I need and how to do it? I have no experience with this, but would like to learn.
I see some folks disassemble the entire machine and soak parts in a bin with citric acid. I was hoping that I only need to add descaler (somehow) and flush the system. I'm not having any issues with flow, pressure, or noise. Just want to keep the machine clean.
Thanks for any assistance.

I'm not aware of this being a recommended preventative maintenance step on commercial espresso machines. I classify descaling components as a repair to be done as-necessary, doing the whole machine would be more like a refurbish, again only if necessary.
That's probably why you aren't seeing much on this.
Oh, thanks once again Brady. One less thing to worry about then!
Happy New Year to you.

Thanks Mike. I have a good filtration system and have checked the TDS. That all seems to be in line. So I went surfing this morning instead of dismantling my machine ;-0.
