We allowed our frozen fruit (berries, mangoes, peaches) to thaw, use fresh bananas, juice base, honey, and ice. The ice provides the slush, the bananas the smooth. For additional smoothness, use ice cream or frozen yogurt. It is frozen, yet creamy, as opposed to a frozen strawberry which likes to jam the blenders.
Have you looked into Dr. Smoothie products at all? They are real fruit concentrate that you reconstitute with water, and blend with ice. Easy to portion, easy to store, easy to make. From what I remember, the taste is just like real fruit with a smoother texture.

Of course, using frozen fruit sounds better, it's a bit more effort, and I'm not sure if the results will be better or worse with one over the other.

I used Dr. Smoothie in the shop, and use frozen fruit at home. Nothing bad to say about either.
I like torani real fruit smoothies they have a very natural flavor , very easy to use. Kinda pricey but worth it.
