Legitimate...when do they start drinking cafe?
Honestly, I'm wondering at what age kids should be starting to taste coffee? I imagine it somewhat like beer, they'll dislike the taste until much older. I remember Kyle Glanville(?) saying something about his child taking the bottom of the demi and enjoying it, but, how old is s/he?
Here, I'm obviously just letting little E gum the rim of the demi because it helps with teething. Her mother looked up and laughed, snapped the photos. I think the bit on the cheek is the best.

Ben, are you talking about tasting coffee or actually drinking coffee...there's a big difference. I'll let Ben and Ethan taste it when they want to, Ethan doesn't like it while Ben actually does but I don't really let them drink caffinated stuff...they get wired enough on a lollipop.

Interesting question. My old boss used to dip his son's pacifier in coffee and give it to him. I'll be honest, every time I drink a quad shot on ice i give my daughter some and she loves it. I started that around 12 months. Sometimes I even dip my finger in it and give some to my son to taste and he seems to like it...he's not yet one. My wife buys an iced coffee from McDonalds (don't get me started with that) and my daughter wont touch it...she says "icky momma coffee". So in my opinion, kids can like the taste whenever. But i would like to make clear i don't give any big amount to my kids...I think its probably unhealthy...I dont really know.

My three year old son likes the taste. When I have my morning coffee I will usually give him what is basically a tiny Cafe Au Lait. He started tasting it around 1.5 years. He might have a couple in a month, but we don't drink soda in our house so the caffeine is less than what most kids his age get from soda.
