Also, if you feel like taking a two hour trek north, come check out Coal Creek Coffee Company. We've got two locations, one with a Clover and we're working on a halogen siphon bar for the other. We roast our own and have several transparent "direct" trade coffees. And you should definitely check out the boulder scene, especially ozo and sole.

Thanks to the both of you. I will try to make that trek, however I am flying in and therefore have no car transport if I have transportation to the places that are further than the actual city I would love to take adventures!

Metropolis which serves Herkimer Coffee from Seattle and Avianos pulls Blackcat from Intelly, are downtown Denver spots I frequent the most. There is also Novo at the Denver Art Museum, Fluid and Pablo's has a pretty good feel. You should give me a hawler when your here, I love going all around town on coffee tours.

speaking of Pablo's, don't leave town without drinking an Espresso Oak Aged Imperial Stout from the Great Divide Brewing Company... top five coffee beers I've had. They use Pablo's.

Beer....it's a good thing. I guess I could have added that too, not only coffee shops but good eats and bars..haha.

I bought my tickets for July 9th to the 14th so I'm going for sure and I'm very very excited!!! My friend said that Pablo's was one of her favorite places to go and it's within walking distance to her house...so I'm sure I'm going there.

Pablo's for sure! (be sure to try the BeetBox vegan pastries, even if you're not vegan they are incredible!) Stella's is in south denver and serves Pablo's but has a really different feel, they also do live music every weekend. if you want the weirdest coffee shop experience hit up Paris on the Platte, denver's first coffee house. Don't expect amazing coffee, but the experience (and food) are worth it. Leela's is also a good 24 hour option.

Sweet! Thanks. I'm a vegetarian and love anything vegan as well so I will for sure try the pastries. And thanks for the other info, I will have some free time in the mornings while my friend is at work and she lives only a half mile from downtown denver so I will have time to venture!
