Hi Hope, welcome to bX.

There are a few NC baristas on here. I'm in Charlotte, but spent a few years downeast in New Bern. You're in a tough place for barista networking, but are probably within reach of Wilmington? I'll ask around to see what is happening over there.

A couple of things you might be interested in:

You should join the group "Southeast Coffee family" on here.

I'm the Southeast Chapter Rep for the Barista Guild of America, and we are working on a barista jam event here in Charlotte the weekend of November 13th that you may be interested in. Will post more info here in the next couple of days.

Thanks Brady! I actually know who you are. I am interested in joining the Baristas Guilda as well and I read your name on the website. I will join the group and thanks for the info! Def keep me posted on the barista jam!

I just moved from Wilmington to Raleigh. I"m also on the "Southeast Coffee Family" group.
