Traveling the US, looking for guest barista opportunities
Hi, late summer or early fall 2010 I will be starting an extended trip around the US. It has a duel purpose, I want to expand my coffee experience and knowledge, but I am also looking into community and environmental service projects to help out with.
I've been a barista for almost two years (I will have passed that point when I leave).
Ideally I would like to barista in exchange for a place to crash and meals. Tips or pay would be helpful, but I'm doing this to learn, not to make money. Also if there are places that serve great coffee but don't need a barista, I'd love to hear about some place to grab a good cup.
So, July or later I will be headed to Idaho, Montana and that general area. From there I'll go where life takes me.

We're in Laramie, Wyoming. Not sure the logistics of setting up shifts to work (we have two stores, a roastery and a staff of roughly 30). But if you're in the area give me a heads up and we can certainly give you a tour of our roastery/lab and see if I can set you up with a place to crash. Cheers-
