Get Baristas on Oprah's new network!
Good Morning Barista Exchange!
Some of you know me and may know that I've been developing a BARISTA! television concept for awhile now. I've been pitching this idea around Hollywood for a couple years and haven't had much luck - yet. But now, the dream-maker herself, Oprah Winfrey is hosting a contest to find a new host for their OWN show. Please take a look at my audition and vote for me and my show, which will feature YOU!!!!
{p.s. Just so you know - I had the most awesome jingle prepared, but then discovered I had to use THEIR music. Had a less than pleasant experience trying to facilitate their editing software, maybe the server was overloaded with all us a-holes uploading at the last minute. Anyway, when you hear the glaring silence, imagine your OWN soundtrack.}

FYI, the link won't take you directly to Lita's audition video. It takes you to the closed audition entry page. Lower left hand side has a section labeled Thank You, in the middle of the paragraph is a link that says go here. Clicking that takes you to ALL the entries. But wait, there's a search function. Now type in "Lita" and you'll find her video.
Don't know who chose the entry category but was a bit dissapointed it was under Wildcard not Cooking.

I considered choosing the Cooking category, but, decided against it because although the show will feature coffee & espresso preparation, it will also feature a variety of other topics - anything else you might go to a coffeeehouse for, music, art, community events...
