Cycling roaster hit by truck
Hey everyone.
A dear friend of mine, member of the Roaster's Guild, and roaster/green coffee quality guy for Java City, Chris Sanders, was biking to work today, and was hit by a truck. He is in really bad shape right now - his skull was fractured, and he has bleeding on his brain.
He appears to be stabilizing in the hospital, but he could really use all of our thoughts/prayers right now. He's a really good guy. He knows everything there is to know about coffee, but he shares it in a humble, approachable way. Almost everything I know about cupping I learned from him.
