Thanks Batana, fascinating. Do not despair, Indonesia is not that much further along the road of specialty coffee progress than Mongolia, and we are a coffee producer!!When you go to a cafe here fresh roast and ground (in the form of Kopi Tubruk...like a tall turkish coffee) is half the price of a cup of Nescafe... the locals still would prefer to go for instant Nescafe! The bigger cities like Jakarta are different and advancing quickly. Good luck to you and I hope to meet you one day and visit your beautiful country.
Hello Batana! Wow, Ulaanbatar is for sure 1 place I would like to visit. I have some customers here that work for a NGO and soent some time there back 2006. The photos from outside the city, on the steepes, are wonderful and colorful. How is the specialty coffee industry progressing there?
