I don't exactly know where this belongs. But the 'Other' category will go unlooked at.
I want to buy green coffee for roasting, and like everyone else, I want the best coffee I can find. The problem is I can't find it. I know of a few farms that are fantastic, I can get green beans from hasbean coffee, and probably form a local shop (other than where I work).
But, I'd really love to buy form a co-op or directly, however, I'm not sure if that's possible or realistic. I'm sure they don't care about tiny orders, and I'm not even sure how to go about this on a wholesale scale for a shop. This topic has been brought up many times, and I've even brought it up for myself trying to understand how the shops do it. But the answers have been annoyingly redundant and obvious (sorry, I don't mean to sound rude), but I do know there are many people using this site who source their own coffee.
Is this possible? I'd prefer to avoid sweet marias, but...it is convenient.
