I did a quick scan of the forums and didn't see a topic on this. As an avid Chemex user I'm curious to see what the general consensus is for the Chemex community as to their new Ottomatic.

Price wise it seems a little steep, but then again look how much people spend on their grinders, espresso machines etc. Great coffee does come at a cost to some degree, but I'm really curious as to what people think of taking a very manual way of brewing and making it automatic.
Personally, I like manually brewing. My pouring method is sound, grind size good and I'm happy with my overall times and most importantly the cup of coffee that is the result.
