I'm overwhelmed...marketing is not my forte. What method has worked best for you? TV is too expensive, I've tried radio but it's hard to tell if it worked, Groupon was fine, but no real benefit, got a few coupons in newspapers back, even local magazines are too expensive. I know that you have to spend money to make money but, unfortunately, I still don't have the cash flow to put major amounts of money monthly into marketing. Additionally, I'm still (5 years later) having new customers come in who work or live within blocks and it's their first time in! What types of free, cheap, or at least inexpensive marketing have you done to focus on a specific target, like those people who work/live within blocks of the cafe?
