hey all! so me and a fellow are in a discussion over naked baskets vs double spouted or stranger what used to be a spouted head with the spout screwed off so that it extracts out the little "nipple". the latter being seen in a shop that does not level, just tamps and lightly so, that results in a very sprightly espresso. So im looking for opinions/defenses on the lack of naked baskets what is the thought defending not seeing exactly how your shot extracts. it seems to me that it could be ok since your not leveling anyway and your really just going by taste and sight on the finished product.....SO! spouted portafilter & no leveling or naked and leveling?
