Opening my first coffee house/juice bar.
Hey everyone. I know I haven't had much to say on here, but i am about to become much more involved!! I have decided to open my own place. I am looking at 2 group and 3 group machines, vita mix blenders, and the lot. I am wondering if you guys can give me some feed back about which Machines you enjoy most. I love the look of Electra but was unsure how good they really are. Any thoughts on equipment would be wonderful. I am going as organic and natural as possible. I am also hoping to carry Coal Creek Coffee and I really like their product. Any way, thanks for the help.

My recommendation would be to consult with your local roaster, and let them help you navigate the waters of opening a new shop. They have done it countless times before, and give you honest advice on what you will need for your shop. Also, the roaster that you decide on will have a vested interest in seeing you succeed, so the service you're given from them will be hard to beat. There are many options out there for machines, blenders, grinders, heck, all of it, so definitely decide on a roaster-partner first. They can take a look at your space, determine what your estimated traffic will be, and guide you to the best equipment for your shop. Thanks, and best of luck to you in your new endeavor!

Thanks so much. You are right!! I have spoken with John Guerin at Coal Creek Coffee and he was a wealth of knowledge. He sent me a packet about their coffee that was extremely well put together and he was very easy to talk to and suggested I come down to Laramie for a cupping and see their operation. I will give updates as I go along.
