Got a question for those interested regarding the purchase of a grinder.
I am a relatively new coffee shop owner and really not mechanically inclined. But when push come to shove and something breaks, somehow with great trepidation I manage to fix it. So durability and simplicity are high priorities when considering equipment.
Currently I have a Nuova Simonelli MDX grinder. Been working great for 18 months, but I know the day is coming when it will break. I have no back-up.
I am looking for suggestions on a good choice for a back-up grinder from basista/owners that have experience taking apart and actually working on grinders.
