roasting beans at home small roater
hi i am a small 5 lbs roaster - new at this - contracted out before- my roast is not coming out even- or consistant - need help , small roater gal

The first resource I would recommend is Sweet Maria's website and roast blog. They have enough instructional articles posted for the home roaster to at least get you started.
Also Coffee Review's website, written by Kenneth Davids, has a some good content under "coffee reference."

Hi Sam, and thanks for the info. I think we have figured out the problem of uneven roast. Our grill was not level, so anyone using a roaster drum grill should make sure the grill is level. We live on a boat & never thought about that. Now that the grill is level, it is roasting some beautiful beans , all even in color & we can pretty much take it to any roast level.
