hey everyone, i'm making a move out to seattle next friday (5/15) and figured i would try my luck at advertising myself via BX. so to anyone up in seattle, if you are looking to hire a barista please send word.
as far as experience goes... by 'time' standards i still feel pretty young to the trade, but for what i've been doing the last 3 years or so, i feel fairly equipped. i know that most shops tend to NOT want people with experience, i feel the same way, being the head trainer at the shop i'm the assistant manager at right now. even though i may not be the "blank canvas" we love to start out with, i know and understand that i still have a great deal to learn and if your shop is willing to receive a hard-working barista into your squad, i know i can accommodate.
practical skills.... i'm not gonna mix words, down here in the Inland Empire of southern Cali, i'm a rockin barista. i know my way around a bar and can hold my own very well... i come with my own tamper and dream about latte art. so again, if you need someone, let me know where i can grab an app from you, i'll be in seattle next weekend.
