I'm the 5th generation OF COFFEE FARM GROWERS! My great grandmother started the coffee business when she bought the first lands.
We have a coffee farm in a small town called Naranjo in Costa Rica (Central America).
The farm altitude is between 1000-1200 meters above sea level. We have coffee plants of Arabica Catuai, Sarchimor and Arabica Caturra, which is all shade grown.
We have the Starbucks certificate and about to renew the Rainforest Alliance certificate.
Our family has been only focused in production at the moment. I'm just starting in the business and I would love to sell the coffee directly to Roasters in the US or Europe... or anywhere else. We have specialty green beans that will be ready in Feb. of next year.
What is the best way to contact roasters and what information should I have for them? Where do I find the going rate of coffee prices for my specific area?
Thanks so much for your help!
