I recently got laid off from the shop I work at. It just opened a few months ago and the boss, god bless him, is just unable to afford a staff at this time. So, now he's left to work his shop alone all day everyday. I'm considering working at the shop just for tips until business picks up. This may not be enough to get me by but times are tight and there are few revenue streams available right now.
What do you guys think? Is it respectable to work for just tips or should I take a hike and look for employment elsewhere?
