I heard that Nuova are bringing a brand new Aurelia to the testing. Apparently a low profile version, not to sure what that means. But they say that they are keeping it secret until about 2 weeks before testing commences.

 

Also they have re done their Mythos grinder to try and compete for WBC cert on the grinder side as well.

Checking back for any additional information concerning the outcome of the espresso machine testing. Any one have first hand knowledge?

So... Nuova Simonelli is once again the WBC machine sponsor. The new Aurelia II T3 is the official machine of the 2012-2014 competition. Congrats, guys!
