Italy is the birthplace of Espresso. It was Mr. Luigi Bezzerra who came up with the invention of a single shot Espresso that is made in a matter of seconds. But his invention didn't get much attention until he met Mr. Desiderio Pavoni. "Ideale" had literally no competition in the Italian market for decades. The story of espresso machines started there.
Nowadays the market is filled with espresso machines. There are manual Espresso maker, Semi-automatic one and fully automatic espresso makers, and super automatic espresso machines. I usually prefer espresso makers that comes with a water filter and built-in coffee grinder. And, Frothing Wand is a must for me since I like steamed milk.
I would like to know what are your preferences when it comes to choosing an espresso machine? Do you prefer going with a separate grinder and water filter? What is the specialty of spring-lever type espresso machines? I see a lot of people prefer them.
Do you still prefer to make Espresso in a traditional way?
