What Thermometer to use?

Ive recently had a lot of issues with Tayler thermometers and was wondering if there was a preferred brand or model out there. One that wouldn't have to be calibrated every couple hours, and one that could handle being under water for short periods with out fogging up. I know plenty of barista dont use thermometers, but i use them as well as touching the pitcher, listening to the milk, etc. The more checks and balances the better. So if anyone has a recommendation it would be appreciated.
