If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
yes
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
The United States, Canada and Europe. I want to share the art of coffee with the rest of the world.
About Me:
I'm a coffee promotor and taster, for me coffee is not a business or a simply beverage, it is my passion, my legacy, and my culture. And because of that I founded Kafes Guatemala. I want to share my coffee and passion with the rest of the world.
About My Company:
Our mission is to strive for new opportunities through
the coffee business to support several Guatemalan organizations and their efforts to gain and sustain local
development opportunities for their communities.
Our vision is to develop a unique market of gourmet coffee buyers and drinkers throughout the entire world, and to share with them the unique taste, flavor and experience of 100% fresh Guatemalan coffee.
Right now I am using Peru, Ethiopia, Papua New Guinea, Costa Rican and Dominican. I have roasted some Guatemalan but my current supplier does not have any in stock.
That was a beautiful article Pablo; it makes me pine for a visit to origin, an experience I have not had the pleasure of, yet. I look forward to getting to know you and sharing our mutual passion!
I had just enough of a break from judging to head to Antigua and Finca Belle Vista....
Love to come out to see you one day too and maybe bring some people for educational purposes....lets keep talking!
Hi Pablo- thanks for the comment! Gourmet Source does not sell beans, only coffee house related products....things that go into the final product. I will talk to the owner of our company and see if he is interested in representing a line of coffee. It would be great.
Hope all is well with you! Take care-
We retail Intelly primarily, so we've had their El Cuervo (Huehuetenango) when it's been available. We're not looking to add right now, but if you're going to be at SCAA we'd love to meet you and sample some.
Re: SCAA, meant the convention in Minneapolis. Oddly enough, I've got about two pounds of various Antigua green samples in my basement: Las Nubes, La Tacita, Filadelfia, San Sebastian, that we picked up at the SCAA in Charlotte in 2006. I'd forgotten about them until we bought a Behmor roaster in November. So we started roasting some of the samples for our own use... and despite the age and lack of proper storage, the coffees are still pretty tasty.
Hey Pablo, I've had a fair bit of antigua - but I was talking to a roast master over here, and he was telling me about some amazing stuff he just got in that was priced really well too.. I can't remember what he called it.. but I'll find out. I'm gonna get my hands on some next week. Cheers,
Hello Pablo, Im not sure where my name is from. I saw Antigua on your locations. I spent a month in Antigua and on Lake Atitlan last year. I love it there!
