So right now I'm working with a small roaster that wants to move to Vancouver and open a roastery. As for a shop of my own...there's always something in the works, collecting information and ideas. How are things at the Inteli Westcoast flagship?

Hey Ryan, I was in at Kopplin's Coffee about a year ago while visiting the MSP area and you pulled a few shots for me. I remember you had just gotten back from the Pacific Northwest with some Dark Horse Blend from Mutiny Roasters. That was definitely the most enjoyable shot of the day. I'll be up there again this next week, do you know if Andrew ever gets the Dark Horse anymore?
  • Ingibjörg Jóna Sigurðardóttir

Hey Ryan. I´ve ben good. Good to be here...better then all other web places =) How are you? Are you training 24/7 or is the competition over?
  • Ingibjörg Jóna Sigurðardóttir

I know how that is, have the café too busy to train in. We have already started the training for the competitions and we´re having lots of fun...next for me is to go to Nigaragua january 24th. Good luck with the training.

Sorry, Ryan, I didn't call before dropping by the shop last week. I was doing some other stuff in LA and didn't know if I would have time. Turns out I did, and I visited, and I had an awesome cup of coffee. Thanks for that.

  • Ingibjörg Jóna Sigurðardóttir

Looking good on flickr...soooo...are you one of US rising stars? (competing for USBC title?)
  • Ingibjörg Jóna Sigurðardóttir

Yeah, I know what you´re saying...it´s like the saying "beauty is pain" ;) I just realised the funniest thing! On the comment below..in "US"..was sopposed to be U.S. Makes me look a bit arrogant there, dossenit? hehe!

Anyway, the best times are now, that´s true. Training, jugeing and all that crap. But I like the WBC the best, meeting all the coffee gangsters and the mafia. It´s the best :) Hope you´ll come see us (as in me and many others) in Denmark, even if you woun´t be competeing for the Yankees.
It always helped me when I was pissed off during training, to remember why I was doing it...buuut I can´t tell you the secret...
