About Me:
My name is Anne Cooper and I just love using the molecular formula for caffeine as my user name!!

I have been competing in the Barista comps since 2005.
Have won the AASCA Queensland Barista of the Year 2006-2008 and have been in the AASCA Australian Barista Final 2006-2008.

Am really passionate about barista training and see the barista comps as a way of taking skills, knowledge and understanding to a completely higher level.
Am also passionate about an industry I have chosen to be a part of and for the profession of the barista to be recognised in Australia as a credible profession.

I also love photography (of coffee stuff of course!)
I have a serious addiction to collecting tampers (am up to 15 so far!!) Am seriously jealous of the barista chick with a Louis Vuitton tamper!!
Love finding groovy music for playing at the comps.
Love collecting cups too- barista comps are a good excuse for this!!! (my fave cups by far are the Terrakeramik - well worth the expense!!)

Have also now moved into roasting, which has been a longterm goal of mine as it now means more involvement with green bean from buying to quality control to even newtworking more with the farmers etc.
About My Company:
Started in only 2002, Di Bella Coffee is Australia's fastest growing and soon to be Largest Boutique Coffee Company.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
Constantly learning and networking with other baristas and other likeminded people who are passionate about the industry
