About Me:
Coffee has been my passion since my first job as a barista in 1998. I stumbled across this coffee house by sheer accident in Metairie, LA while attending Tulane and spent many a nights there studying (yay for free coffee refills). I liked the place so much, I started to work there part time as well.

I moved backed to California a year later and found a wonderful cafe in San Jose. That's where I developed my coffee skills (had a 100% manual espresso machine) I worked here for a few years and moved onto UCLA where (you guessed it) worked at the campus coffee shop(s).

A year later I went back to San Jose to manage the same cafe and moved onto to Panera when I moved to Washington State. I would still be in the food service world had it not been for my lovely wife asking me to find a more M-F job. I love working with people and coffee, but I love my wife more!

That how I came to Coffee Shop Manager. They liked my coffee and food experience, I liked their focus on the coffee industry. It was a match made in heaven.
