Are you working at Daily Buzz Saturday morning? My friend Mitch and I will be there. Mitch works with me at the roastery.
  • Steve Kessler

Hey, I'm sorry for not getting back to you sooner. This Saturday wont work for Mitch, and I'll now be busy in the morning. We're planning for next Saturday (for sure) at Espressions. There will possible be another cafe owner there to join in. I'm a little nervous though, I'm a newbie when it comes to cupping so I hope he isn't expecting too much. How's thing's been?
  • Steve Kessler

    Got plans on Saturday?
  • Jason Casale

I watch my boy on saturdays usually but I can try to work things out to be free If I need to be
  • Steve Kessler

It got filled last night. I can see if the guy who's in the room with me wouldn't mind a third person in the room. Someone could crash on the floor. How does that sound? Also, I would want to make sure the Hotels shuttle service would be cool with three people from one room.
  • Steve Kessler

hey! Cupping tomorrow at Lost Dutchman Roasters at 1:00pm. You want in?
  • Jason Casale

I cant on short notice sorry
    thanks jason
  • Instaurator

Hi Jason yeah I know what you mean. It can seem like it takes the fun out of it. I think it is good to do it different ways, because there is always something to learn. One of the problems for me was not being able to get my start temperature down low enough easily. But you know there is always the 'Heisenberg uncertainty principle' to take into account! So basically this means that anyone using a tryer to view a sample mid-roast is affecting the end result. Now that is gonna get a lot of people tied up in knots..... Maybe I'll see you in Minneapolis
  • Mike Funk

So sorry to hear about Bill. He was a good guy. I can't believe it. I don't know many cafes in AZ but if any of the Daily Buzz baristas end up in Seattle, I can put in a good word at a few places I know.
