I hope to post some pics soon but I have been pretty busy. I am getting married so that takes a lot of planning. The pic that is "me" is of a coffee ceremony at Giday farm in Limmu.

Hey! We specialise in Belgian chocolate as well as espresso. There's a huge chocolate fountain at the front of the store, hundreds of quality chocolate to choose from, cakes, chocolate fondues, waffles. All the good stuff really. It's very hard to stop myself from eating my whole shift through.
  • Lindsay Parker

Hey J! Nice to meet you this past weekend, I hope you enjoyed the SCAA. Thanks for coming by our booth and tasting our coffees.
    Cheers,

  • Caitlin Corcoran

PT's at the warehouse. I occasionally even process your orders. How's the shop?
  • Joshua Longsdorf

hey dooder, so me and my roomie have been trying to build these brewers for our little garage project. Last night I totally started an electrical fire. We have pictures from the night unfortunately non from that but I assure you it was awesome.
  • Andy Newbom

hows the hotness in the coolness? (coffee in your cool shop)
  • Joshua Longsdorf

It's the men in green...shit I was hoping to sell out to them after coming up with a production model. Also I built a small home roaster and threw down my first roast this morning. It turned out pretty good but I now need to make some design mods. You guys will have to come over and play once the gargae is all hooked up.
  • Alex

    Hi there!

We are not open just yet....I think 2 more weeks to go and still so much to do! :)
  • Lucas Elia

Im so upset you were not there to witness the chocolate incident today...brilliant.
  • Beth

    Hey J:
I was checking out Paradise Roasters and they mentioned you as a reference. Could you tell me how you selected them and how they are to work with? I'm concerned with them being out of state, the timeliness/quality of their stuff on arrival. Since you're in California too, I thought talking to you would be helpful. I'm narrowing my selection down and liked what you said on the coffeeshop blog about using two roasters. Could you expand on that thought? Many thanks!
  • Shari Coia Fulton

Hey - doin' ok...slowly moving along...yes, this takes forever doesn't it! All my friends and co-workers keep asking - "Are you open yet?" grrrrrr
I'm sure you've been there! You don't just snap your fingers and make this all happen, do you?!? I'm working out details on a potential location, but its a 50/50 that it will go thru...are you going to CoffeeFest??
  • Beth

J: Thank you so much for responding back and your feedback on Paradise Roasters! What roasters do you work with? I was looking at Ecco in Sonoma...any California-based roasters you like?
  • Andy Newbom

good time slurping coffee at sfn
  • Benza Lance

I'll be missin ya when I'm in SEATTLE ALL NEXT WEEKEND!!
  • Jake Elia

In cupping alone right now. You suck. :(
  • Liz Clayton

Civilians, they were! Bernal Heights is too uphill for caffienated folks on bicycles, non? ;)
  • Joshua Longsdorf

God damn cool points always ruin my life.
FYI I started home brewing again dropped a batch of fresh hopped oktober fest. I'm probably gonna have a little get together when it drops.
  • Steves

The good people on high have, in that lovely piece of British parlance, made me redundant. Instead of callin' y'all, (some ho' named Justine gets the fun now) my dulcet tones get to be used proselytizing to the masses...aka sales and education. I've actually got some cirricula set up for sensory skills classes if you're interested in givin' em a gander...
  • Andy Newbom

Hows the city search? Any likely sweet spots?!
  • trish rothgeb

My mom lives in Sacramento and I keep seeing your articles in the food mags and newspapers there. Great job! Keep it up!!
  • Tony Serrano

thank you for coming by, J. I'll let you know when I'll be in the city next week. I hope you're around. peace
  • Joey Trujillo

Thanks for the feedback J. I'm through Roseville all the time, but it's always after hours... hope to stop by the shop as soon as I can though.
  • Andi C. Trindle

yes! I don't think I can leave San Francisco. Are you here now? I'm off on a vacation momentarily and we'll be back October 5. Maybe we can connect up after that.
