Greatings from all over the world! I recently visited Dublin and am absolutely in love with it! Were you at the WBC?
  • Damian

Hi Anya, Unfortunately didn't get to Copenhagen. Would love to have seen Stephen win. Was talking to him straight afterwards and could hear all of the screaming and drinking going on. How about you did you get to go. When were you in Dublin. Were you just passing through on travels?

Thanks for the greeting Damiano. How is the weather?<= ( for lack of a better conversation starter)

Thanks for the reply! Yes chocolate does get old but we are always looking to import some interesting chocolate. Currently we are carrying a lot of the moonstruck line which is a lot of fun because it was featured at the white house during the Clinton administration. I was also on vacation in Seattle last week. that was a blast the coffee shops are incredible I learned a lot. Your a Barista judge? that is really neat! I have been thinking about competing for a long time but I need some work I have some interesting original drinks (yes they include chocolate)
Any ways its always nice hearing from fellow coffee enthusiasts!

Stop traveling? I kinda have though I have not made it back to Australia yet. I'm in Los Angeles working for intelligentsia coffee as a roaster and QC specialist.

Might head back to Oz for a visit early next year.

Glad to see nothing has changed back in Ireland.

Yeah, was up in dublin last year for the ibc. Didn't go to bewley's before though. Always open to offers though! How's tricks in bewley's at the moment anyway? Trade a bit up and down in Kilkenny at the moment and coffee shops opening up everywhere. When's the IBC on next year? I suppose i better start doing things now as we all have to live up to Stephen!

Was thinking about entering the IBC this year, I think that if I just apply then I won't back out :) hmmm somethin to think about in the coming weeks! Have you ever visited Cafe Depeche while down in Cork? You'll have to stop by for a coffee some time
