David, your website is beautifully put together. I'm very interested in a visit to your shop to work for a time. I would be thrilled to gain the experience and knowledge from you and your staff. Not to mention the opportunity to travel and be surrounded by a new culture. Everything about it sounds wonderful! How long would you want a barista for? Any ideas on lodging?

I would be very interested in a roasting internship or a little barista exchange....
  • David Donde

    Cool, how, where when?
  • rob

2-3 months? In awhile to save for the plane ticket. 30-35 hours working behind the bar in exchange for an internship. Maybe a little help with housing at least initially?

Hey David, love the website! Sounds like we are doing similar things. Still keen to visit NZ after the rugby on Saturday ;p

Mate, I spoke too soon...we have lost a couple on the trot since that fateful posting! Was going to fly down to Eden Park for the Wallaby game this Saturday.... but.... well....

Sounds like you got a lot to keep you busy, mate.

Kudos from a young American Barista.
