De acuerdo a lo conversado le detallo a continuación



Desde el año pasado 2007 El diario La Prensa distribuye a nivel nacional e internacional el ya famoso suplemento DESCUBRIENDO NICARAGUA, en asociación con las empresas Schuvar tours, Claro, y Dollar renta car realizan un sorteo de 5 ganadores con su acompañante para Descubrir Nicaragua, el cual consiste llevar a los participantes junto a los patrocinadores a descubrir y conocer los diferentes destinos de nuestro bello país, de acuerdo a lo que le comentaba recientemente los destinos visitados el año pasado fueron: Rio San Juan, las playas del Pacífico, León y sus volcanes y la isla de Ometepe. A parti que estos destinos se dieron a descubrir los mismos sufrieron un gran impacto positivo ya que estos destinos fueron proyectados a todas partes de nuestro país y el mundo ya que este suplemento se da a conocer por medio de la página web del diario La Prensa.



Este año 2008 está enfocado principalmente a la parte Norte del país ya que como es de su conocimiento esta zona posee maravillosos destinos , cultura, costumbres, paisajes, etc. De igual forma se dará a conocer la ruta del café y otros destinos importantes de la zona, por lo que le solicito cordial y formalmente nos permita visitar la finca Rama Café este próximo FEB 17 para que tanto los ganadores , patrocinadores y todos los lectores del diario La Prensa conozcan la historia, la función, los productos, los procesos, en sí toda la información que la finca nos pueda proveer.



La finca fue escogida ya que consideramos que es de gran importancia para la región donde se ubica por lo que solicitamos poder contar con su aprobación asimismo de proveernos de alguna persona que nos pueda recibir y servirnos de guía en la finca, no omito comentarle que una vez que se distribuya el suplemento se dará a conocer una crónica y fotos de nuestra visita asimismo de la información de la finca que se nos proveerá con el anfitrión en la misma.



La cantidad de personas que estaremos visitando las instalaciones son 17 personas aproximadamente entre ganadores y patrocinadores más los conductores, agradeceríamos mucho contar con su participación de igual forma si nuestra visita puede ser otorgada de cortesía ya que como podrá notar la divulgación descrita en la crónica de nuestra visita a las instalaciones tendrá un resultado positivo para que la finca pueda ser tomada en cuenta como uno de los más importantes destinos turísticos de la zona norte del país.



La hora programada para visitar la finca es a las 0900 AM, le ruego de ser posible detallarnos por este medio la dirección exacta de la finca asimismo de la persona que nos estará esperando en la misma

Hi Christos...one of my roomates in college was from Greek origin..he is from the Bahamas...his name is John Mosko...we went to Tulane University together...yes we are in a country wher e politics is a topic for most people...but honest we are toooo busy doing things ...producing coffee and making things happen...we do not worry about politics...at the farms the colaborators are worried about their security, their work, the environment, their education and the fact that we need to protect our communities...we are very happy people here working together...politics and things that we cannot change we do not worry about...we will be having a facebook page for each farm or maybe here so that you realize all the work and programs that we care about...best to you and thank you for your concern...keep in touch...my wife Gabriela and me try to not think about politics also because our inmidiate families are from totally opposites sides...but we love each other...

Thank you for welcoming me. I'm looking forward to learning about all the stages of coffee...from beans to my belly! How did you get started in growing coffee in Nicaragua?

As someone really new to the coffee "industry" and having just joined Barista Exchange, I'm excited about learning. I'm a prime example of, "You can teach old dogs new tricks." At this point I've tried roasting just one coffee from Nicaragua (La Bastilla) - with favorable results, I might add. Of course I've much to learn. I roast on a Gene Cafe and have run about 60 batches through it in the last two months.

hi sunny ...sorry had been away from my be...but was traveling to the NCAUSA conference and right after I had to go to Mexico to get an awrd...yes a CSR award given to us by the CEMEFI and other groups...this is a Corporate Social responsability award given to 4 companies only in Latin America...good ...it was very nice and we feel honored that we were chosen...I will see if I could post info about it...i will wait for your ideas as to when you plan to travel and i will be there to help!
