I just became a barista exchange member, so you might not know who I am. I have been associated with ESI since their beginnings (Kent, Joe, Ron...Anastasia,). I have also worked for Illy, Crossroads Espresso, and other coffee companies... many years ago. I plan to come to the Seattle area next month (March 12-19th or so) to do factory training with Nuova Simonelli,to visit Espresso Parts, ESI, Clover, and a variety of coffeehouse road trips. I will be coming with two other guys who are roasters, baristas etc. I would like to make contacts with people I have met at former SCAA shows, Coffee Fest etc so I can introduce my best friends I am coming with to them.

We're checking out a location on Wed. It seems like a great location. We got our business account set up. Still working on the loan though. That's the biggest problem at the moment.
  • Brian Gregory

Cool interview in Barista, Heather! Hope things are well.

Who do we talk to about private labeling. etc?
  • Jason Duncan

Heather! Thanks for passing along my request! I have sent Stef and email about it but have not heard anything. I will look forward to hearing from her or Bev.

    Ah, the Prom...

It has been a few years since I was at prom. The family throwing the party went all out - cinema screens outside for playing the Wii, lazer tag, inflatables, Evoke (which I think was the best, I'm biased) and more.

It was pretty cool but I don't think I like staying up until 5 in the morning.
  • Danielle Glasky

ah! next time. Will you be in Atlanta before next year's SCAA? I'd love to make you a drink sometime soon.
  • Tony Riffel

Heather...let's just say it could always be better. Our economy here in downtown Jacksonville SUCKS! I need help. Is there someone there that could help me by showing me great ways to bring more people into the store. I feel overwhelmed because I'm doing everything.
  • Rob Tuttle

The dinner was great and the company wasn't bad either! However, dinner would have been even better if you would have been there! :-D
