It's great to know that the midwest is full of awesome people. I hope we get to nerd out again soon. You are always welcome to come down some weekend and judge my boys during practice. We can always use a fresh perspective :)
Hey there,
good to work with you in Colorado. Two of my dearest friends, whose artwork adorns my house, grew up and met in Lincoln, Nebraska. I forgot to mention it; probably because it won't interest you much, but still . . . . I have a fondness for your town just because of them.
Hey man, seriously give us a shout. Also, Norm's tours on Saturdays are freakin' sweet. Plus in early April we'll have a new cafe inside our roasting facility which will work as a laboratory/retail space of sorts.
e-mail me if you have a free weekend and me and some of the other guys around here will take you out for beer or something.
Hey, got to cup a couple of your coffees today with Jesse Becker out here in Colorado. You got some pretty good stuff. Your yirgacheffe was almost effervescent and had great bergamot and honey tones, it was crazy. Will you be in Minneapolis?? Im competing in the USBC so if you're there I will see you. Word.
yeah, it was the Gedeo Yirg. If you are interested in Cooperative Coffees you should check out www.coopcoffees.com. Also, the coop is going to have a booth at the SCAA show so you should come on by and check us out.

I am writing you to tell you of my great interest in the pursuit of perfect coffee. Many miles will I travel to find a Sensei of admirable stature to train this pupil in the fine and ancient art of coffee roasting.
Yes, I did quite enjoy that part. Another good one is about the Dunn girl who is a coffee enthusiast but she aint never paid no attention to which beans were used. gaaaaawd. Run through on sunday after the espresso calibration/judging/tasting which is at 10, indigo.
It was good to see you in Chicago - wish I would have had more time to chat - judging sure occupies your time and energy intensely. but it was well worth it.
Hi Jon,
I read about you on Coffee Tao. Are you still doing a roasting apprenticeship? If so, please email me some details...I'm looking for a flexible training opportunity beyond what a 2 or 3 day class might offer. thanks...

Jon thanks for the chance to cure the roasting bug and get serious about coffee. I just found a nice used IR-12 after a year+ on the IR-3. I'd love for you to drop by Wenatchee on your next trip west! I could use a lesson on the 12.
Thanks, Darren
was just checking out your website... That Rungeto Coop is freaking awesome isn't it? Wanna trade our roast for your roast? Hope things are well in Nebraska.
