Props! CD was my favorite place in Omaha when I lived there. "The Coffeehouse" was my favorite in Lincoln. I don't know if Cultiva was around when I was there. I'll have to check it out when I get back to the area.
  • Chris Hooton

Cool. I have a brother going to UNO and another living in Kearney, so I get back there once in a while. The Coffeehouse got me into serving Panache. Have you had their Marrakesh espresso? I love it, though I am serving their EcoTrade espresso for sustainability reasons. If you've had it can you compare and contrast your espresso?

    Hi Tamara!
I should explain too! I wasn't scared, really. It was just this odd melding of two different worlds that all came together at the same time of real-deal caffeine over-dose. My skin was crema colored and I don't even want to tell how my pee smelled!

Anywho, sorry we couldn't talk. I had to split to catch a friend compete. What's happening?
  • Barista of Mexico

So, I think I will be going to Colombia this year for the "Let's Talk Coffee" event. Should be a good time, for sure. You?

Yes!! I will be at the USBC! At the end of the day I performed a cost-benefit analysis, thought outside of the box, got back in the box, took a long view, and decided it was a win-win situation... so I'll be there 110%.

I'll be flying in early on Monday afternoon, you should PM me you or John's contact info in case there's something going on that night - or in case there's nothing going on that night.

:-) I just saw online that the kidnappings in Colombia have gone from 3,000 / year to 800. I'm in boring Nebraska right now. Omaha. I can bring some supremo to Lincoln.... that's like an international trip :)
  • Derrick Davis

Deal. I'm waiting for my green supremo beans now. Last week was a big holy week and EVERYTHING shut down. Espresso is my passion, and I will come to one of your tastings. Are you downtown in Lincoln?
