Hi Sarah and Welcome. I'm happy you chose Portland, it sounds like you will be able to carve out your niche quickly, we have a truly amazing local coffee scene here as I can se you are already aware of if you've been to Andrea's place...unfortunately, I no longer have my shop so I can't extend an invitation but am wondering if you have ever done any cupping? if you are interested, let me know and I'll tell you when I'm having one.-Mostly C.O.E. Brazils, a few others as well

Hello Sarah. I would say Portland and Eugene cafe owners/staff are really well represented on BX. I am sure the contacts you can make through this site with those people should help you find employment in Portland. I guess its one of the greatthings about this site, the networking value and the friendships you can make. Good luck with the search.
