It was weird...it was actually our best day ever! A lot of customers made it out to pay their respects and load up on coffee. It was mostly festive, although some customers were really sad, it was like we were breaking up with them. Everyone agreed that SF is a better place for us and said they would come visit us. Seriously, the FVHR kicked ass. I think it is my all time favorite sippin' coffee from you guys.

Andy, flew into Salt Lake City today for biz, and had the incredible good fortune to stop at Bevalo; Jon and Andrea's new shop in the downtown area. You should be proud to know that I drank my way through two incredibly great cap's, featuring your roasts. I'd say the GB5 3 group that Jon runs might have a little to do with the consistent quality, but I'll also credit your coffee and his barista skills. I told him that "......only when I stop at the Barefoot shop do I taste this good a drink! Jon and Andrea have a great shop, and I really wish them the best. I finished my visit by giving them an $80 baking order. The fact that they bake "on premises" adds so much to their offering. Thankfully they have good taste in whose blends they feature...........Barefoot, of course!

Yo Da Bomb. Things here are weird, like being on the Titanic. All these banking people go to work everyday not knowing whether or not they have a job, and sales around these parts reflect this frame of mind. We are plugging away, though. Thankfully, we haven't lost one of our wholesale accounts to closing yet. I am trying to focus on training in the mean time to make sure they all have the best chance! How's things in Sunny Cali? You headed to Chicago in Feb? What about Monica?
  • Alex Negranza

Newbom. What's up. How are things at Barefoot? I'm hoping to head down to Cali again before NWRBC. Any new things in the works?
  • James Warren

It was amazing, everything turned out beautiful. Thomas Liebe brought the Macintosh designers along with some other professionals. We spent three hours talking and making some wonderful coffee. Thanks again for the Love.

Andy: Can you tell me more info on the Dalla machine your using? What $$ I'm curious for us Canadians what we should be paying.
This is the machine I'm leaning towards as I can probably get a demo model for around $1000 less then full. The Synesco is also up there but really big bucks. I"d like to see if anyone has worked on both and which they prefer. I'm also considering La Marzocco.
