The weather may suck in Austin, but the coffee is starting to rock. The second ever South Central Regional is going to be here in October, so come and check it out.
  • Andrew Milstead

Things are shaking. I moved to Seattle two days ago. That was neat. Except the 26 hour drive was a little intense. I am still getting situated out here; staying with my sister for the week and then moving into a house with 2 pals next week. Gearing up for Coffee Fest Seattle in a few weeks......you wouldn't happen to be coming out here for that are ya? Whats been going on with you these days? Still looking for a place to live?
  • Lorenzo Perkins

Are you still in austin? Stop by and say hello.
  • Lorenzo Perkins

so name the time and place and let's roll. Is it the road bike you were talking about?
  • Kristen

Hello! I'm moving to austin in november! I need more barista friends! :)
  • Kristen

will do! I have no idea where we're going to live, right now. I'm trying to find an apartment around the downtown/UT/central austin area. My boyfriend got a job offer at diablo rojo (tattoo shop), and he just sold his car so he didnt have to make payments on it anymore (it was a lemon anyways!)... so we need to live somewhere where he can bike to work.

i think its really neat that you learned how to roast. I would love to be taught one day.
  • Steve MacDowall

Hi MIchelle! It's great to hear from you! I'm glad to hear that you will be judging. I'm excited and freaked out about the sensory test, but it's worth a shot. I work at Albina North (4637 N. Albina 97217), but I took the whole week off of work ;) I believe Scott Lucey will be pulling shots at that store from 3-6 on Friday. We are also hosting a BIG PAR-TAY on Saturday night. usbc2009.com I'm looking forward to seeing you soon! (today was in the mid-fifties)
