    Chris, thanks so much for the drivethru input. I need all the tips and advice I can get. Now I understand why the big fast food chain stores have the order window. Although they muck it up often and you still wait for long periods at some that aren't managed well.
    Most of these smaller "coffee shack" like don't have the foot print to have an extra window some creative folks on this list mentioned having a barista/staff person go out and take orders at the cars to simulate the order window you discribe,
