Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.: I have been in the coffee industry in some capacity for the past 3 - 4 years. I started in a major corporation working as a barista in a bookstore, then grew my skills and worked for a small independent roaster in Bloomington, IL called The Coffee Hound. Currently I work at Dollop Coffee and Tea and the Columbia College University Cafes both in Chicago. I continue to compete in the Millrock Latte Art Championships at Coffee fest, and have in the past helped in latte art training at Coffee Hound.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?: Europe, Central and South America.
About Me:: Studied Journalism at Illinois State University. Currently seeking a position in some publication.
About My Company:: Dollop Coffee and Tea is in the family of coffee shops including Kickstand in Lakeview and Noble Tree in Lincoln Park. We serve locally roasted Metropolis coffee and are driven to excellence.

Coffee Hound in Downtown Bloomington, and Uptown Normal, IL, is a family owned coffee shop and roaster. The two stores have a very different vibe about them. One is in a historic building with original architecture and a more laid back feel, and the other is a block from Illinois State University with bright colors and higher energy. Either way, you can't miss.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?: It's a global industry that incorporates a lot of different people working towards a common goal.
