As an artist I am able to see all that I do through an aesthetically pleasing eye. I am passionate, careful, methodical and almost ritualistic when preparing drinks for my customers. I love what I do and I approach every situation with love and care.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Everywhere! I am thirsty for knowledge and travel. I love to meet new people and with that, learn new things from them.
About Me:
My name is Shellie. I have been a barista since October of 2008. I may not have much experience under my belt but I like to think of it as, "I have plenty of time to learn".
I have had a love of all things coffee since I was 15 and am more than happy making it my career.

On the side I love to sketch, illustrate random things, take photographs, read, travel, and much more.
About My Company:
I am a Barista at a fantastic Espresso Bar/Roastery in the town of Charlottesville called "Shenandoah Joe". At the Joe we pride ourselves on our passion and dedication to providing a top-notch experience for the customer, from bean to the moment they walk out the door.

I love my job.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
The passion! It's a great thing.

Hi Shellie! I'm really excited for Coffee Fest. I'm interested to see how this new bracket style competition works. PS the weather here is cold, then hot, then cold again. How's Virginia?
