Thank you! I must say, I`ve had a lot of people training and helping me, so there is many baristas here in Norway that aslo should get alot of credit for a getting me where I am today :)
It has been such an inspiration competing this year, and maybe some year I`ll compete and win another championship in Norway, so that I get the chance compete in the WBC again!

No news or travel lately. Though the new La Marzocco profiler is absolutely amazing. I must get one but damn them for making us wait another year!!! Painful.

Heading to Chicago for the restaurant show and then might be opening a second cafe later this year. Isn't there a coffee show in Italy later this year?

Hey Nik,

I am not planning on coming to Europe anytime soon, but with these low flight prices, who knows. Maybe a trip to Croatia in the fall? I have plans to go to China, Philippines, Mexico, Brazil, Las Vegas, NYC and Scottsdale this year ... :)

Melkorka was born on march 30th (girl) so she´s about 4 months now, healthy and happy. We are also very happy and Kaffismiðjan is going great! That´s the name of, Sonja and me, little coffee company :)

Ma ja sam prvenstvo odmah zaboravio nego cuo sam mnogo lepih prica sa oitvaranja elis cafea od strane Bobija i Sase iz makedonije posto sam prethodnih7 dana bio njihov gost u Skoplju i prosao kroz naku vrstu obuke. Mogu ti samo reci svaka cast i kada bi svi krenuli tvojim koracima kafa bi bila pravo uzivanje. Uvek se rado setim natpisa koji mi je jednom kolega ispricao da je procitao u nekom italijanskom cafeu a glasi "espresso je zadovoljstvo ako espresso nije kvalitetan i dobar gde je tu zadovoljstvo" Veliki pozdrav iz Beograda.

yeah man for me its about whats in the cup too. but im saying who wants to drink a tribble ristretto when you can have .75 ounce of very very very good espresso just as good as the tripple but so much more nicer than letting it rest there for longer than its supposed to. espresso is meant for you to shoot and be on your day. its beautiful, and they ruin it's traditions
