If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
maybe
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I work at Tri-House Coffee in Leavenworth, WA and Caffe Mela in Wenatchee, WA. Both places are committed to making an excellent cup and in the short time that I've been a barista, the two shops have given me a great jump start into the coffee business. I am always interested in new information to help me make the best cup possible.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
New Zealand, Iceland, Vienna... I've been to Japan and would love to go back. And I guess there's plenty in this country I still need to see. ... Is life long enough?... Maybe eventually they'll come up with a pill to take to allow me the 500+ years it would take to see it all. That'd be nice.
About Me:
Honestly, I love a good cappuccino, but music is my thing. I play guitar, mandolin, bass, and can keep a decent beat on drums. Coffee's definitely my drug though and when I'm wired, I'm inspired (Wow. That rhymed. And if that had been intentional, it would be really cheezy...). I also snowboard, run, hike, watch too many movies, love pasta, make lots of jokes (funny or not), want to be Robert Plant someday, am on a health kick, am on a kicking kick, brush my teeth often, had a ferret once, think I look pretty good in gray, bite my nails, like girls (a lot), drink wine on occasion, live in a duplex, love going to concerts, and that's all.
About My Company:
Both are my favorite. For different reasons.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
You should help me make my t-shirt for your show..."I beat poor folks, live well at a game of wits and cunning." We'll make it cool and then everyone will want one.
