How many years have you been in the industry?

If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
maybe
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I was trained by Cary Arsaga of Arsaga's in Fayetteville, AR. I'll never forget the experience, and felt that I was in great hands. Appropriately, I was taught relentless perfectionism, which was very natural for me because I'm perfectionist freak anyway. I'm eternally thankful for this introduction into the world of great coffee/drink-building!
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
I would love to spend some time kicking around Seattle, Portland, and Eugene, OR. Working there temporarily would be a dream come true, but I don't think my company would 'exchange' me because I'm technically an office worker! I'd also like to travel to Costa Rica, Bolivia, Columbia, Tanzania, and Indonesia. Those are my favorite coffee regions.
About Me:
I live in the beautiful Ozark foothills of northwest Arkansas. Music and coffee are my entire reason for being! I'm a classical pianist, singer, and bassist, and I can work my way around the guitar well enough to accompany my singing, I guess. I am completely honored to serve great coffee to my fellow human beings. It's a spiritual endeavor, I believe. Nothing is more rewarding than that.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
I once overheard one of my customers moan dramatically and say to her friend, " This coffee feels so good in my soul!" No words can describe how that made me feel.

Haha! That's great. Are they gonna buy them then? Naked pfs rock. Some people have the idea in their mind that they bought this expensive machine and they don't want to modify it at all. But that's when the real fun comes in! Anyway, even though you can do it yourself and make it turn out great, if they just buy it, then that's even better! It's not your money. Hope you like them.

Jennifer, thanks for the feed back to me....I can only hope that the first person we hire to work on the handle side of the portafilter, ie Barista has a fraction of the heart for there work as you do.
Or I on the other hand have what it takes to train like the first trainer you had.
Happy Thanksgiving and hope you have the day off for play,
    Joseph
