I think FX wise, Indonesia and Mexico may be in similar positions. The US$ has strengthened about 12% against the Rupiah this month... payment for imported goods is generall either in US$ or E depending on where its from.
In regards to Sulawesi, there is quite a lot of good quality Arabica coming out of South/Central Sulawesi and some out of the Mountains further to the North. Obviously Toraja is famous for the Arabica produced there- but there are a number of equally good, if not superior, sub origins as well. Interesting to meet someone who has a connection to here through family!
Heya Jeremy. My name is Chris and I live in San Miguel de Allende. Just wanted to give you a shout and am interested in connecting with groups and members on this site who are currently in Mexico. Saludos!
