About Me:
I have loved coffee since I was 6 and my grandfather made us lattes to celebrate. Being a barista since I was 15 has been my dream job. I miss it right now as I haven't been able to get a few hours at the local shops, but I am determined to continue in the industry and own my own shop someday.

Thanks for the kind words. It took about 40 hours work + $40 of sheet copper and brass and was a sort of a design study for a possible series.

Your post "Just the tops" said you are a potter. Being on Barista exchange I would think that you would know what a ripe coffee cherry red color looks like.
My question is: how difficult is it to get a glaze color that is a rich deep red of a ripe coffee cherry (not the almost black and not the bright red)?
I have found several companies that make logo mugs. They create hand thrown mugs and then attach a medallion with the logo stamped into it. After the first firing they glaze all but the logo, highlight the details of the logo and fire it. (my best guess based on what I remember from pottery class in college).
I just don't know to describe the color to someone who has not seen a coffee cherry even in a photo.

When we finally build... We will have a retail area. I would like to sell an assortment of hand made cups and other coffee and tea related items.
I defiantly will be looking for things that go with our color scheme as well...
    Coffee cherry red, http://www.rowstercoffee.com/pics/coffee-cherry.jpg
Creama gold, the same color as your title banners on your BEx pg.
    and on ABCs logo.
Tea leaf green, Take the green of your page and put glaze over it that has a dusty silvery hint to it (I saw on a blooming tea).
These are the colors of our logo too.
I also like our logo when it's mono color printed in the same brown ton of the creama of latte art.

Thank you for the info. I don't do pottery anymore... not sense college. I never had much success at throwing. My instructor had to help me center and I never got my base thin enough ( I was afraid I'd push trough to to the wheel).
I will file your info and let you know when we break ground... Trust me, when we break ground everyone on here will know it!
